A home cleaning schedule is a map or planning timetable or chart that shows the chores for cleaning your home depending on your needs and requirements and most importantly, your family members and the type of home that you live in i.e. apartment, farmhouse, or beach house. The home cleaning schedule can be as simple as one task per day for the entire week and it can also be as complicated as dozens of small and big chores for each day of the week around the year. It depends on you if you want to create a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly home cleaning schedule.
Categories for the cleaning chores in the Home Cleaning Schedule:
There are basically five different types of home cleaning schedules that you can choose from. Below is the list that you can go through to find what type of cleaning chores you have in your home so that you can decide what kind of home cleaning schedule you want to go with.
- Daily cleaning Chores:
This usually includes simple, short, and easy tasks that you can easily do on a daily basis whereas, on the other hand, you also need to do them on daily basis as well. It includes picking up clutter from the living area or television lounge, cleaning and wiping the kitchen counters, washing the dishes and cleaning out the garbage bag, making the beds in your room and kids’ rooms, and picking up the clothes and putting them in the laundry and picking mail from the mailbox and sorting the letters out in the manner that they are required from most important to least important. - Weekly cleaning Chores:
This is a more elaborate and detailed chores category in which you need to dedicate one day per week to the home cleaning chores most commonly the weekend and do all the cleaning chores on that day that you dedicate for this purpose. This category includes the tasks such as cleaning bookshelves in the living area, cleaning furniture and surface of other items, cleaning the windows and vacuuming the carpets, cleaning cabinets, sanitizing the counters, cleaning the microwave and other appliances, throwing away old food from the fridge, changing sheets in the bedrooms, doing laundry, washing clothes, making grocery lists, going for grocery shopping and watering the plants in the patio or front yard. - Monthly cleaning Chores:
The monthly cleaning chores include vacuuming of the entire house including carpets and cabinet tops and underneath the furniture in the living room and bedrooms. This category also includes polishing and cleaning the appliances i.e. television and microwave and cleaning out the fridge and changing water filters in the kitchen. - Yearly cleaning Chores:
This category includes the tasks and cleaning chores that are either not very important to be conducted on regular basis or are too time-consuming and it’s not possible to do these chores every day or even every month. This cleaning category includes cleaning underneath carpets in the entire house, cleaning behind appliances and under furniture, washing windows and cleaning bath towels and drapes, and most importantly, cleaning outside the house including gutters and patios.
