A Personal Development Plan is a personal plan kept by an individual that helps him to organize his life and to keep track of his achievements, accomplishments, future goals, and objectives for upcoming years. Most of the time, personal development plans are adopted by individuals without any outside influence where times, when a person develops bad habits or uncommon behavior that could harm or even hurt the people around him, he is advised to adopt a personal development plan in order to make changes in his behavior and help himself to become a good person.

In regular life routines, people usually don’t take that much time to think about the people around them and their behaviors in particular situations but when dozens of people are working in a workplace together, it is very important for the supervisor or the manager to keep an eye on the performance and behavior of each of them so that they can be used more effectively. This also helps to track a sudden change in an employee’s behavior or performance pattern.

For example, an employee is known as very hardworking and loyal to his job responsibilities and he is being the same for years but suddenly there is a change in his performance and his abilities start falling apart. Unprofessional organizations just terminate the employment of such workers in above mentioned situation but the companies that want to keep their employees with them, arrange for special analysts who review the performance and behavior of those employees, and in a detailed report, they suggest that counseling is enough for the employee of the needs personal development plan to enhance his performance and improve his behavior.
